Virginia Nolan, honored in Who's Who Among America’s Teachers, has been recognized as a distinguished teacher and presenter by educators at all levels. During her many years of teaching English, drama, and study skills, as well as facilitating the English Department at the Mount Sinai School District, she has developed materials and created strategies that enhance curriculum. Special focus has been given to listening, note taking, and follow-up writing skills. By modeling lessons, coaching teachers, and presenting ELA workshops in New York State, she has shown how incorporating and developing reading, writing, listening, and speaking strategies in one’s everyday curriculum will enhance learning.
